How Successful Was Megan Draper's Acting Career?

Did that big break come after 1970?

Acting is a career that can range from the heights of winning an Academy Award to the lows of doing local improv theater.

As Megan begins her journey towards becoming an actress in Season 5, I thought a lot about these lines from Joan and Peggy.

We never see Megan win an Academy Award or succumb to local improv theater. She always seems to be teetering on the edge of commercials or soap operas but never really gets beyond them during the show.

So, it’s 1970. With a million dollars in the bank and Don Draper out of her life for good, does Megan finally begin to reach success?
